Quick overview

With 330 locations, Salvos Stores recycle pre-loved goods with 100% of profits going to Salvation Army programs. The Salvation Army Australia is a national Christian movement united by faith and about giving hope where it's needed most. Across the country they are engaged with every demographic and every age group.

Single brand destination

Looking to merge their dual web presence, we were tasked with creating a single destination for the Salvos Stores brand. We created a design that reflected elements from both brands incorporating logos and icons as well as updating colours and imagery. This ensured users maintained a familiarity with their known Salvos Stores brand whilst maintaining a sense of cohesion throughout the site.

Dual content management

As part of the sites merging, there were a number of areas that required solutions to manage dual content. We updated designs to ensure content was easy to navigate and understand, as well as implemented functionality changes on forms enabling the submission of data based on the location of end users.

Additional design and development

We designed and developed two new areas for the site which included a blog area and campaign landing pages. Both the blog and campaign pages have further enhanced the sense of cohesion from combining the two Salvos Stores brands, allowing the client to communicate to their users with one brand voice.
