Insula Group is an Australian owned and operated company providing a broad range of IT services and industry leading software products. Their ever-evolving range of software solutions have been the driving force behind many of Australia's most successful players in the home building industry.

The project

Insula were launching an onsite camera solution that allowed customers, site managers and companies to monitor the progress of a home build. This product would drastically enhance the customer experience whilst building a home and provide operational accountability for the homebuilder, allowing for more efficient management and provide security to the site.

We came on board to provide a complete branding solution for Insula Group. Beginning with the name and tagline we set out to focus on the two main points the product addresses; the customer experience and operational efficiency. From customer and site manager feedback, we were able to build a picture of how the product enhanced the home building experience. The overwhelming response told us this product addressed a number of friction points for both parties and was a very welcome addition to the building process.

Our target market consisted of the various teams that made up a home building company, from operations to marketing and everyone in between. Working closely with our copywriter we built a story around the product that would be reflected across all brand items. The print material, website and product video all adhered to this story and aimed to build a comprehensive picture in or targets mind of what the product could do for the interests

Working with the team at Insula we produced a time-lapse video that showcased how this camera solution would enhance the home building experience. The time-lapse features actual images captured by a Homepass camera and stitched together so the home comes to life before your eyes. Building off the brand that was already produced we were able to provide another sales tool for Insula.

We created a single page website that allowed users to experience first hand the capabilities of the Homepass camera. The pièce de résistance of the site was the time lapse featured on the hero section of the website. Accompanying the video, and maintaining the brand aesthetic, we focused on clean simple text, strong visual imagery and bold colours.
